Welcome to The New School Center for Media
Founded some 45 years ago, the New School Center for Media has evolved with new technologies but kept its student-friendly model of small classes and direct dialogue with teachers and industry participants.
Technology has changed the job market with companies in a broad range of industries demanding new skill sets. The New School Center for Media regularly consults with industry participants to better understand their needs and tailor its programs to ensure students can embrace new careers. The New School Center for Media has sought guidance from IONIS Education Group, a leading private higher-education group in Europe to develop programs that can answer the challenges of an evolving economy.
Today, software developers and web designers are in great demand in virtually all industries. VFX artists can apply their talent beyond film and video games as animation is an integral part of 21st-century communication. Video editors apply their skills in a broad array of fields in the digital era, teaming up with audio recording specialists. These new programs, designed for today’s job market, have been developed according to IONIS’s project-based teaching method that has led some 75,000 alumni to successful careers and serves 28,000 current students.
Students learn through real-life assignments with the close guidance of their teachers in a small working-group environment. But because our students’ achievements are our best accomplishment, we leave it up to them to tell you about us.
