Digital Film Production – 630 Hours

• Grip and Electrical
• Sound Recording and Mixing
In this program students will write, shoot and edit short films. They will study various aspects of plot development from introduction to conclusion. Students will learn the building blocks that create a strong film. Writing techniques will also be studied. Students will then venture into all of the production techniques and components used to create and produce a short film or major motion picture. Included are: pre-production, story development, techniques in cinematography, lighting, producing, directing, and all aspects of post-production including editing and effects.
At the conclusion of the program graduates will possess a strong working knowledge of how to create their own films. From initial concept to final edit, in this program graduates will develop a complete understanding of the world of Digital Filmmaking.
The program will conclude with a professional demo reel and an industry related internship.
A foundation in videography, lighting and digital video editing is strongly advised.
